Several Issues With Helix Ultimate V2.0.1

Perhaps each of these require their own threads, but I'm finding these items not working with Helix Ultimate v2.0.1 and wanted to provide a summary:

  1. Custom code is not editable. I must copy the code to a code editor, edit the code there, and then re-paste the edited code back into the template's dashboard (i.e: Templates -> sharper_helixultimate - default -> Template Options -> Custom Code)

  2. The front-end "content" icons do not display. For instance, the "back to top" icon and icons at the log-in form just show rectangles (i.e. in the template’s css for "arrow up": .fa-angle-up:before { content: "\f106"; } and for "user" in the log-in form: .fa-user:before { content: "\f007"; } do not show the intended icons)

  3. We are still looking for a solution with an Open Streets map module that no longer displays, per an existing unresolved thread: https://www.joomshaper.com/forum/question/5812. Apologies for cross-posting, but I wanted to summarize all the issues we're struggling with so far after upgrading. Still need help.

Here're the answers to your queries -

  1. Would you mind telling us in details where exactly do you have the problem to edit the code?

  2. About the icon, please make sure that font-awesome icon is activated like shown in the screenshot. Then try again. If the issue persists, feel free to give us a buzz again.

  3. What's the exact problem you are facing implementing the open street map? Please explain in details with some screenshots if possible.

Hi Muntasir,

  1. The custom code issue is a weird one. I cannot create new line breaks. Templates -> sharper_helixultimate -> Theme Options -> Custom code. I can type on any line, but cannot create new line breaks, not with ENTER nor SHIFT+ENTER.

  2. Font awesome issue is fixed. Thanks!

  3. The Open Streets module has been described in detail in this thread: https://www.joomshaper.com/forum/question/5812. Admin credentials have been supplied but the thread seems to have stalled as I have not received any responses for a couple of days. The issue in short is that we have an Open Streets module assigned to two pages on the site. After the Helix update, the map no longer displays. I have confirmed that the map DOES display using the Protostar template, so I'm presuming the fault lies with Helix Ultimate. An additional issue is that on one of the pages where the map spans 100% of the page width, the Off-canvas menu is inoperable. I would deeply appreciate someone taking a look at this as soon as possible as this part of our site remains broken. Please see the thread at the link supplied.

Muntasir,

Regarding #3, the map, here you can see where it does NOT work with Helix Ultimate, but DOES work with Protostar. It seems Helix Ultimate is stripping out a bunch of code, or perhaps not loading a needed JavaScript file for some reason. Anyway, we really need a fix for this.
