Off-canvas Drop Down Menu

Hi, since updating to J4 and Helix Ultimate 2, I found out that the sub menus in off-canvas mode are not shown correctly. They are displayed but can not be clicked to show sub menu items. The arrow to open dropdown is missing. All works well in MegaMenu but not in off-canvas. What did I do wrong while updating? Please see http://j4neu.waddensea-forum.org/ . I have been working on this issue for weeks but could not find a solution by myself. Thanks for your help.

Hi there!

Would you please try this?

Please go to modules/Offcanvas/ select hide ->then save -> Show then save. Here is a screenshot for your ease:

If I may... Is what I see now on my Firefox / Chrome. All arrows are there. Please check from 2nd browser or device. It may be just browser cache issue.

BTW

You should work on Accessibility topic - I mean at least focus on the mobile menu color contrast - is too low right now. Fail test.

Dear Paul,

thanks for trying to help me. I tried "modules/Offcanvas/ select hide ->then save -> Show then save" again, as suggested by Rashida, cleared all cache, tried in Firefox/Chrome/Edge - no change in offcanvas. Would you please have a look and click at the arrow under menu item "topic". There are 3 submenus listed (Instruments/Projects/CoreIssues) and each has its own submenu. If you click on the given arrow next to the three mentioned submenus, only the third submenu (CoreIssues) opens. But for "Instruments" and "Projects" the arrows to open submenu are missing. Any idea how to solve the issue?

Probably they are "wrong" menu items type. They cannot be "Headers" - instead of use "URL" as Menu Item Type, and put # as a link.

Klar, I had the same problem on my site. Pavel on the Forum helped me identify a series of 3-5 simple fixes that finally resolved the problem. See my summary at the end of this forum post:

Hope that's helpful!

@Paul Frankowski

Thank you for the workaround solution of changing menu headings to URLs. I have implemented it and it works. However, will there be solutions for integrating Helix into J4 properly in the future, or will we have to live with these?

Regards,

Francois
