Hi, I wanted to have some information, I have sp on the production site "domain.com" and a copy of this site on a development environment at "Sviluppo.domain.com". As I am making changes to the development site I wanted to know if I can transfer the license key to the development site and once finished activate the key again on the production site so that I can work on the test site. In my dashboard I have a domain on which to activate the license and so I wanted to understand if I can change it when I need to make changes on the test site or if the license change is a problem.

Hi there!

If you are using the personal plan and have 1 website license, then you can use it for your main domain and sub-domains also.

You can use the license key on your localhost too as the localhost doesn't deal with the license key.

Yes, you can change domain name on your dashboard, as you can see an edit icon there. However, we discourage that, it will cause no trouble though. If you really need to build your site in a test environment then you can use your localhost, which is safe as well.

Best Regards

Thanks for the reply. I prefer to make the changes in a subdomain so that I can test both the desktop and mobile view from smartphone, in fact I tried to enter the key also in the development site in the subdomain and it works. so if it's not a problem I use it both on the production site and on the development site. So you can make the changes on the development site and then pass them on to the production site. I just wanted to be sure of this. I have the personal license for 1 website
