Helix Causing Incorrect Dates

It took a lot of my developer's time to figure out why the dates are displaying incorrectly in my component.

Finally, after much time, they figured out that it is caused by the Helix framework template.

I just confirmed that the component is compatible with the Bootstrap 4.

I still have the same issue with the incorrect dates.

My component's developer indicated the following as the potential problem:

  • "Most probably a field override is wrong."

This is what I am being told on the other end:

  • "The issue is caused by an incorrect override in the Helix Template, this has nothing to do with the extension. They have left the Joomla 3 override on Joomla 4."

In the Hidden Content I will add the file the developer send me concering:

  • \plugins\system\helixultimate\overrides\layouts\joomla\form\field\calendar.php

PS: The file is too big for the Hidden Content?

Touriq,

The development team was already sent the code to fix this issue a long time ago. They just need to compare the code I sent with your origninal. Then they will see they failed to remove Joomla 3 overrides when they created Joomla 4.

I would kind of like to find out if it was corrected. Otherwise, I will waste much time testing just to find out that it was not fixed. I looked over the changelog and it does not seem to mention it was fixed. I have already wasted too, much time on this issue.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I can confirm that this issue WAS fixed in the last Helix v2.0.7.

It took a while and delighted it was fixed.

Look into Elementor. These guys are lightyears behind. Yeah - it's WordPress, but they at least allow others to provide plugins.
