Checked tmp path its correct along with its permissions, using php 8.3, SPPB 6.30 on Joomla 5.4.3 - Template is Travel Kit

Configuration.php shows correct path and also in Joomla Global but joomla system php info shows no value.

Thank you for providing the detailed information. Based on your report, the root cause of the upload issue (error 500 in SP Page Builder and Media Manager) is that the PHP GD extension is not enabled on your server. The imagecreatefrompng() function, which is required for handling images, is part of the GD library. Without it, Joomla and SP Page Builder cannot process image uploads properly.

Since GD is a PHP extension, enabling it requires access to the server’s PHP configuration. We recommend contacting your hosting provider and requesting that they enable the GD extension for PHP 8.3. Once GD is enabled, the upload functionality should work as expected.

Additionally, please ensure that the upload_tmp_dir is correctly set in your PHP configuration. This is also essential for file uploads.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

Perfect, thanks Atick - this is the first time I have used this hosting co. direct for a client with the ability to have multiple domains under the public_html - maybe they just set them up differently to my normal reseller account.

Thanks for the quick answer.

You’re welcome!

Yes, sometimes hosting providers handle accounts with multiple domains differently than a standard reseller setup, which can affect PHP extensions and paths. Once the GD extension is enabled by the host, everything should work smoothly with SP Page Builder and file uploads.

Glad I could help, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you encounter any other issues.

Best regards
