Before you start using SP Booking, it is important that you create relevant categories, that best fits your business. And since with SP Booking, you can use it for multiple businesses, there are four types of category types for you to choose from:

• Accommodation
• Package
• Transport
• Place

Categories help make you better organize your website and let the customers find what they are looking for easily. To create a category, click “New” from SP Booking > Categories.

This will open the category creation page where you need to provide the name of the category and choose the category type from the given four.

You can either use FontAwesome 4 icons or custom images as the category icon. If you choose Font Icon in the Icon type, you need to use the FontAwesome 4 icon class name in the “Font Icon Value” field. For example: for using the home icon put “fa fa-home” in the field.

Hit “Save & Close” when you’re done.
