The Properties option in the SP Property component provides settings and configurations for managing individual property listings. These options allow you to control various aspects of how a property is displayed, organized, and interacted with on your real estate website.
To create and add a new property go to your Joomla Dashboard > Components > SP Property > Properties and click on the “+ New” button.
Basic Tab

Unique ID: Assign a unique identifier to each property entry. It ensures that each property can be distinctly recognized.

Title: Give a name or label of the property. (e.g., "Shadow Ridge Farms Org," "Westpark Meadows"), which will be displayed on the property listing.

Title Alias: This is a URL-friendly version of the property title. Leave this blank and SP Property will fill in a default value from the title. It has to be unique for each item.

Category: This refers to the classification of the property. This option displays the categories you set in the Categories option of your SP Property extension.

Property Status: This indicates the current status of the property, such as 'Sale', 'Rent', 'Sold', ‘Pending’, ‘In Hold’ or 'Under Offer'. It provides information on the availability status of the property.

Rent Period: Specify the duration for which the property is available for rent. It could be defined in terms of days, weeks, months, or years, depending on the rental terms.

Featured: Enable this option to mark this property as featured on your site.

Agent: This refers to the real estate agent or agency responsible for the property listing. It provides contact information or a link to the agent’s profile, to ensure better communication between potential buyers/renters and the agent.

Full Description: You can insert a detailed explanation of the property here. It provides a space to include comprehensive information about the property's location, amenities, and any other important details. This section is crucial for giving potential buyers or renters a thorough understanding of the property.

Image: This is the main image of the property. It represents the property visually on listings, search results, and the property’s detail page.

Folder for Gallery: Enable this option to create a folder containing multiple images for a gallery display of the property. The folder stores additional images beyond the main image to create a visual tour or showcase different aspects of the property.

Folder Name: Specify the name of the folder where property-related images or documents are stored.

Gallery: Add your property's detailed images here. It allows you to display a series of images in a slideshow or grid format, providing potential buyers or renters with a visual overview of the property.

Latitude: This is the geographical latitude coordinate of the property. You can use https://www.latlong.net/ to pinpoint the exact location of the property on a map.

Longitude: This is the geographical longitude coordinate of the property. You can use https://www.latlong.net/ to pinpoint the exact location of the property on a map.
Price Tab

Price: Enter the cost or sale value of the property. The price is typically shown to users in the currency set for the property listing.

Price Request: This option is used when the property price is not directly displayed. Instead of showing a specific value, potential buyers or renters are prompted to contact the agent or seller to inquire about the price. This is often used for properties with negotiable prices or special conditions.

Fixed Price: This indicates that the price of the property is not negotiable. When the Fixed Price option is enabled, it means that the listed price is final, and the buyer or renter cannot negotiate or change it.

Currency: This setting defines the type of currency in which the property's price is listed (e.g., USD, EUR, GBP). It allows the user to select the appropriate currency based on the region or market where the property is being sold or rented.

Currency Position: Define where the currency symbol appears in relation to the price. The options typically include placing the currency symbol before or after the numerical value (e.g., $299 or 299$).

Currency Format: This determines how the currency and price are displayed. It includes the format for decimals, separators, and whether the price uses commas or periods (e.g., $1,000.00 or €1.000,00). This is important for maintaining consistency in price display based on local standards.
Location Tab

Country: This field specifies the country in which the property is located. It helps categorize the property geographically and is essential for users searching for properties in specific countries or regions.

City: This defines the city or town where the property is located. It is important for narrowing down searches to particular urban or metropolitan areas.

Address: The Address field provides the specific street address or location details of the property. It typically includes street names, numbers, and other identifying information to pinpoint the exact location of the property.

Zip Code: This field refers to the postal or zip code for the property’s location. It is used for more precise geographic identification and is often part of address verification or mapping tools within the extension.
Details Tab

Property Size: This refers to the total size or area of the property, usually measured in square feet (ft²), square meters (m²), or other relevant units. It can represent the size of the building, land, or both.

Beds: Insert the number of bedrooms available in the property.

Baths: Insert the number of available baths in the property.

Garages: Define the number of garages or parking spaces associated with the property.

Floor & Flat No.: Include the floor number on which the property is located (for multi-story buildings) and the flat or unit number. It helps in identifying the exact location of the unit within a building.

Building Year: Include the year in which the property was constructed.

Features Text: Outline the key features of the property. It can include details like architectural style, nearby amenities, or unique aspects such as a swimming pool or garden.

Features: Checkboxes or tags for various property features. They represent attributes like air conditioning, swimming pool, fireplace, or elevator, and help users filter properties based on their preferences.

Video Description: This field allows for a description or summary of a video tour or presentation related to the property.

Video URL: This field allows you to add the URL of a video that showcases the property.

Floor Plan Short Description: Add a brief description or overview of the property’s floor plan. It can include important details about the layout of the property, such as the number of rooms, the arrangement of spaces, or key features of different floors.

Floor Plans: Add a detailed visual representation of the property's layout. Include an image to the related floor, layout name and floor plan text that highlights the details of the floor layout.
Options Tab

Status: This indicates the current condition of the property listing, such as "Published" or "Unpublished". It controls whether the property is visible to users on the frontend or being worked on in the backend.

Created By: This shows the name or username of the person (or admin account) who created the property listing. This is useful for administrative purposes.

Created On: This refers to the date and time when the property listing was initially created.

Language: Specify the language in which the property listing is written or intended for.

Access: This defines who can view the property listing, based on access control levels in Joomla.
