Property Features

Property Features allows you to highlight specific attributes or amenities of a property. These features help potential buyers or renters quickly understand what the property offers.

How to Add a New Property

To create and add a new property go to your Joomla Dashboard > Components > SP Property > Property Features and click on the “+ New” button.

  • Title: Give a name or label of the property feature (e.g., "Swimming Pool," "Balcony," "Garage"), which will be displayed on the property listing.

  • Alias: You can either let SP Property automatically generate an alias from the title or manually enter one yourself. If you want the alias to be auto-generated, leave the field blank.

  • Icon Type: Image and Icon class:

  1. Image: You can upload an image to represent the category. This image might be displayed alongside the category title on the frontend.

  2. Icon class: This is the class name for a font-based icon (such as those from Font Awesome or similar libraries) that represents the category. Instead of an image, you can use an icon to visually represent the category.

  • Image: An optional visual representation of the property feature, such as a small image or icon that appears alongside the feature title.

  • Status: Indicates whether the property feature is active (published) or inactive (unpublished), controlling its visibility on the website.

  • Created By: The username of the person who created the property feature entry within the SP Property component.

  • Created On: The date and time when the property feature was created, useful for tracking when features were added.

  • Language: Specifies the language of the property feature, allowing it to be displayed only in the appropriate language context on multilingual websites.

  • Access: Controls which user groups can view the property feature, enabling you to restrict visibility to certain groups, such as registered users or administrators.
