Proof of Work CAPTCHA is a Joomla plugin that works differently from traditional CAPTCHAs. Instead of asking users to prove they're human, it presents a math task that the browser solves automatically in the background.

How to Configure Proof of Work CAPTCHA:

In order for your SP Page Builder forms to support POW CAPTCHA, you need to set up and enable the CAPTCHA from the plugin manager. Follow these steps:

Step 1: Enable the POW CAPTCHA Plugin

• From your Joomla dashboard, go to System > Manage > Plugins.
• Search for: CAPTCHA - Proof Of Work.
• Click on it to open the plugin settings. .

Step 2: Configure the Plugin Settings

The following settings are available:

• Difficulty: Controls the computational load of the puzzle. Choose from 4 options - Easy, Hard, Moderate, and Custom. 
• Automatic Solution: Determines when the browser starts solving. Keeping it set to “When CAPTCHA field receives focus” helps minimize noticeable delays during form submission.
• Expiration: Sets how long a solved puzzle remains valid. The default is five minutes, which is sufficient for most contact forms.

Inside the plugin settings, configure the available options based on your preference and save the changes.

Use POW CAPTCHA in SP Page Builder Forms

Once your POW CAPTCHA is configured properly, you can implement the CAPTCHA to all your SP Page Builder forms (Opt-in, Contact Form, Form Builder). 

How to Set POW CAPTCHA as Default CAPTCHA

• From your Joomla dashboard, go to System > Global Configuration > Site tab.
• Find the Default CAPTCHA option and select: CAPTCHA - Proof Of Work
• Save the configuration.
