Language Switcher Not Showing The Languages

SP Page Builder 3 years ago

Hi, I have created all my pages using SP Page Builder and not the default Joomla page component. My site is multilingual so I am trying to add the language switcher on the menu.

I can now access my the languages through different links: https://ecb.kodedigital.expert/ https://ecb.kodedigital.expert/ms

However, the language switcher is not showing up. If I enable the title, it will appear but I can't see any option to select my language. Could SP Page Builder be the issue? I have tried Googling for a few weeks now but seems like nobody has encountered this issue before.

Thank you for replying. I did follow every single step in the page, it's kind of working now but my website is supposed to have both EN and MS languages, it's only showing MS and when I go to MS, it doesn't show me the EN option and the MS became unclickable. https://ecb.kodedigital.expert/

Please check the Language Switcher module settings. There might be the issue.

I have checked your site. You have missed some steps. Please follow the previously shared blog. The steps you should check are:

  1. Use 3 templates. Default, for English, for Malay ( I have done this on behalf of you )
  2. Use 3 menus. Default, for English, for Malay ( you do not have menu for English. You are using default menu. Please change it )
  3. Fix the menu association

After doing all the steps mentioned in this blog check Language Switcher module.

Thanks. I can see some good progress now but if I switch from English to Malay, then Malay back to English, for example https://ecb.kodedigital.expert/index.php/ms/hubungi-kami-ms it will add a /en/ in the link and it will return to the home page because the /en/ page doesn't exist. The actual link should be https://ecb.kodedigital.expert/index.php/contact-us and not https://ecb.kodedigital.expert/index.php/en/contact-us Do you know what is the issue? I have followed your instructions but couldn't figure out what has gone wrong.
