I scraped everything to start from scratch. This time with Quickstart Joomla 3 - same template "Rythm".

It does result in the very same problem. Joomla installation goes off for a few minutes to to "something" and returns - this time to the installation page 3.

The notable difference: Joomla 3 shows the "Pre check" on the third installation page, and all database configuration and password and copatibilities and write permissions are correct. It just doesn't install.

No error message, no warning, no hint of wrong configuration, it just does not install.

WHY????

I tested the installation of straight Joomla (current version 4.1.2) - and it works without a problem. I tested then the additional installation of just the Rythm template - that seems to work too - but it just has three basic side modules (Breadcumbs, Login, Main menu) - of course no sample data and of none of the expected template specific modules. I really need the complete setup with sample data and all extensions and modules defined.

So again - why does the quick start installation not work? What is wrong?

Obvious all my settings and preconditions are correct, or I could not have succeded to install Joomla 4. The promised installation in minutes cost me by now half a day of waiting, if the technical team answers and helps me.

You fixed it. I honestly wish you would have told me what you did and when you applied the change. I feel like an idiot, trying the very very same steps again (4 times re-start from scratch with the same saved details) and hoping for a different outcome. And all of the sudden getting a different result. I have now Joomla 4.1.2 successfully up and running with the sample data and template Rhythm.
