Hi,

Can I know when the Newskit template will receive the new update?

I want to know when I will be able to update to Joomla 4. And for now, what is the maximum PHP version I can update, on the documentation page the informations seem old.

Hi there!

Thanks for your query.

We will update all of our Helix Ultimate based and Helix3 based templates. Here is the plan:

As the Newskit is also based on the Helix3 framework, so it will get Joomla 4 compatibility update too. When? I am not sure about specific time of a single template, sorry about that.

Maximum PHP version is 7.4 for the Helix framework.

And yes I saw this article one year ago, but the text said ''within a couple of months.''. I wanted just to make sure is still on plan. :-)
