Update Requires Latest Joomla Version

Hi, I noticed when you update Helix template and SPPB3 to the latest version you also need to update to the latest Joomla version. Correct? I first updated the Joomshaper files (Helix & PB3) then I got an error and no acces to the frontend. Then updated to Joomla 4.2. Then it all worked again. This is intended or known?

Helix Ultimate 2 requirements: https://www.joomshaper.com/documentation/helix-framework/helix-ultimate-2/introduction#technical-requirements

Both has Joomla 3.10 compatibility as you can see from the technical requirements above. What was your Joomla version before? And what was the error statement, please?

Joomla 4.1.5 was the previous version and the previous version of PB3

it is PB3.8.8 as stated above. I don't use SP4 on a live site and don't intent to update from 3 to 4 any time soon. To many issues.
