Paul,
Once I realized that I had created your account on the wrong test site, I thought that possibly all the work and changes I did was also to the wrong site. I was about to tell you all was well because I added the main menu to the template and it displayed. But, then I tried to add some modules to the mega menu and every time I tried to save the modules, it deleted my row that contained the Menu. So, then I had to add it again. I have added and had it deleted quite a few times.
Here is how this can be reproduced:
- Open Template Options for the Shaper_Gazette - Default site template
- Click on Layout Builder tab on the left hand column of the popup windows.
- In the row below the Header row and above the Main Body row and name it Main Menu. Make sure it is not fluid width
- Apply changes
- Edit the light blue row to select Menu to diplay in that row
- Apply the changes and click the Save button in the top right. (The menu will then appear on the page.
- Now return to the navigation bar at the left and select the Navigation option.
- Select the Secondary Menu to edit
- Select the Jewish Life top level Mega Menu icon to edit it.
- You can see that I managed to get the Tab Arts - Jewish Life module to display
- Cancel
- Select theL'Chaim top level Mega Menu icon to edit it.
- Add the Tab Arts 0 L'Chaim module to display
- Click Save
- Now Save at the top of the page
- Close out the top right X to return to the backend
Hmmm... after all of that description it did NOT fail. Although the two modules do not look anything like they do in the Quickstart.
I am going to post this to this ticket in case the problem occurs again. But, at this point it did not reproduce this time.
