Hello johnny

Please use PHP 7.4 to install Edulif Quickstart. It is not compatible with PHP 8 yet.

Best regards

I uninstalled and re-installed, now it's working.

I am currently using Edulif with PHP Version 8.0.23 Can you tell me how it's not compatible? It appears to be working.

I did uninstall SP LMS, in case that's the issue?

It could be. I am not fully sure. I told it is incompatible because we have not officially tested.

Not sure I understand. What is incompatible, and what is not tested?

We have not tested the template with PHP 8. And so officially, we do not claim that it is compatible. But it is working as you said. This is fine.

I disagree, it's not fine. For Joomla 4 the recommended PHP version is 8.

You recommended that I use PHP 7.4, this is now end of life. This really isn't good advice for any customer.

The template shouldn't be made available for Joomla 4 if it's using a PHP version that's end of life and insecure.
