Can I Change The Logo URL To Link To A Different Page On The Website?

Hello - Does anyone know how to change the URL of the logo to point to a different page on the website. I understand the default is to the index page, but I'd like to have it point to a different page on the same website. The reason is because this will be a private site and have hidden all the menu items and forcing users to log in (registered) before they can continue. This works, however, once logged in and on a sub-page, if they click the logo, it will take them back to the login page instead of the actual landing/home page, since that is technically the first page.

For example, instead of going to www.website.com when clicking the logo, I want to point the logo url to www.website.com/homepage

Hope I'm making sense. Please let me know!

Thanks, Nader

Hi Nader.

You should create custom Header. Add in it, for example, user1 position instead of logo position. Cteate custom module with linked logo image and place the module in user1 position. Also most likely some improvements will be required through CSS

Hi.

For this purpose, you will need to use custom Header. Then you can use the module containing a logo with custom link instead of a logo from template

Hi Pavel,

Do you mean that I create a custom module and position it in the same spot as current logo? Sorry, this is new to me. What are the general steps to achieve this? I'm using a J4 template (Wimble).

Thanks, Nader

Hi Nader,

Happy to see your question is answered already.

And thanks to Pavel for your cooperation here.

Actually, there is no default way to do that as per my knowledge. It requires PHP code customization either, and customization support is prohibited here.

I can only give you the path where you need to edit code to change the Logo URL.

To change the logo link you have to edit this file: /templates/Your_Template/features/logo.php

Hope this helps anyways!

Best Regards
