Hide Frontend Button?

I edit pages in the administration. That's why I'm still using SPPB 3 and will never upgrade to version 4. I was showing the administration to a friend and tried frontend editing. But now as a super admin I still see the button on the site. And that bothers me. How do I cancel it forever???

Thank you.

Hey Alena, thats a nice problem. ;-)

if you don't want to administrate, make yourself another user account and log in with it.

that would be the easiest way, i would say.

you can deactivate "Shared Session" under Global Configuration->System, then you are not logged in in the front-end, if you have activated shared session at all.

i don't think you will get around not using pb 4 for the future. better get used to the user interface slowly. the worst thing that can happen to you as a developer nowadays is that a tool is not developed further. and that seems to be the case here after the announcements for 3.x.

this is just my opinion. im just a customer, not a team oj Joomshaper. Best Wishes.

The front end is the problem itself. We have two superadmin accounts on the site. I can use frontend pages with one, but not with the other.

I used The Quix before. I ran away because they canceled the possibility to program the page in the administration, but introduced the embarrassing frontned. Frontend is for kids and SPPB is just trying to catch the fashion wave :(

Hi there!

Please go to System -> Global Configuration -> SP Page Builder -> Permissions and explore the permission of your desired user groups.

Hope this helps anyways!

Best Regards

I had this issue (edit button appearing in the front end when logged into back end as super user). I managed to fix it by playing with global config/system shared sessions. Even though my setting was off, the edit button still appears. I toggled it to on, saved settings Toggled it back to off, saved settings cleared all caches and the problem was fixed
