Helix Framework 2 years ago

Hello! I like your work and your Helix template, but I feel that not the full potential has been realized. I met a website on the Internet https://warptheme.com /. In addition to the proposed addons, they also have a redesigned Helix template. They did a good job (much like Yootheme on the same framework). Please review their solutions, perhaps you could take note of some functionality. I would like to use your Helix, but have more options to customize both the top menu and the menu for the mobile version.

  1. How to implement the possibility of a menu for mobile, so that it does not slide out from the side, but a window appears or items slide down. (example, https://yootheme.com/joomla-templates ) By the way, this functionality is already partially implemented in Helix, when you select Full Modal in the Basic -> Header -> Select a Header settings. How to do the same, but for the mobile version. https://disk.yandex.ru/i/Zw5E8ivzRQpPsg https://disk.yandex.ru/i/jjhWSHoIvQOAUg
  2. How to implement "Sticky on scroll up" for the top menu? I.e. the top menu in the "Sticky" mode will appear after a slight scroll up. It would be cool to see this functionality in Helix.
  3. It would be interesting to understand how best to implement the "Transparent Overlay" mode for the top menu so that it is on top of the slide and is transparent. As well as modes for menu text (dark/light).
  4. How to make icons move next to the top menu item (flip) when hovering and when active?
  5. How can I make it so that for the parent element, when clicking on the item (and not on the arrow icon), the accordion list with child items only opens, and there is no transition to the page?

Hi there!

Thanks for your suggestions. I will forward them to the team to have a look for consideration.

  1. You can try the sticky header option along with the sticky offset value: https://prnt.sc/2xw47eUbzklg
  2. Transparent Overlay can be achieved by custom CSS easily. I need your site URL to provide you the code snippet.
  3. Did you mean for mobile menu/offcanvas? Then yes, it is also possible with CSS.

Best Regards

Hello! 2. I meant a more advanced sticking function. For example, you start scrolling the page from top to bottom, but the top menu is not displayed. It will appear when you scroll up. (https://wordpress-theme.spider-themes.net/landpagy/) 3. Yes, for a transparent menu, you can really limit yourself by setting the background and position. But in fact, it would be cool to have it immediately in Helix. 4. I meant for the top menu.
