Customising Helix And PageBuilder

Template 2 years ago

Hi ,

I'm looking to some site templates using helix and pagebuilder, i've been using your exisitng tempaltes for years and love them!

Do you have some documentation, or advice on how best to customise the styles? if i use helix/pagebuidler i am forever overwriting the section headers, colours etc, in the browser and would rather just use the CSS to create default colours and styles.

where do i go to create style's that become default in both helix and page builder.. predomoinantly Typography, Heading styles (sections, plugins etc) button styles, etc.

Thanks Heath

Hi Heath,

The best tool for that you may have is your BROWSER (really!), and Code Inspector from it. Read my blog post >> https://www.joomshaper.com/blog/which-line-of-css-i-have-to-edit-code-inspector-in-action

We all use it every day to preview classes names, ID names or from what file CSS was used etc.

2nd tip: Helix Ultimate is based on Bootstrap 5, it uses its css + js files.

About SPPB 5.0.x (upcoming) webmaster will get "Color Library" from where you can predefine colors used in SPPB. It helps to speed up color choose in addons, rows etc.
