Backend Of SP Pagebuilder Will Not Save Changes

Hi, I have problems working with the SP pagebuilder in the pages (or perhaps also other places). Example: when creating a new page it seems like it will not save the changes. But if I clear the browsers tab, I can see the it has created the new page. Same it I dublicate, Save as a new name or just change the name. The same happens when I changes the page settings (language, Category...). Everytime I make a change, then I have to clear cache on the browser and refresh the page.

I am using the new version 5.0.

Try to go to Settings, licence, SAVE.

hi I did a simple test. went to settings license and saved changes. went back to pages and opened a page. I changed the name of the page, I save and close the page. the canges did not appear. deleting cache on my browser maked the changes visible.

hi. I believe you misunderstand. The issue is not fixed. I guess it is not the intention that the user have to spend 1 minutes with clearing caches everytime you do some changes.

Hi Forum

I really dont get it. There must be many people using the new version of SPPB 5.01 that have the same problem with updating the system.

I will try to explain it again.

I am using Joomla latest version and SPPB latest version. Also the Helix ultimate lastest version. No other add-ons.

When I under the menu Pages do any changes it will not show.

Example1: If I open a page and just rename the page from example Frontpage to Frontpage1 and click the save and close and come back to the page list, the name of the renamed page is still Frontpage.

Example2: If I have a page and under the column choose trashed instead of published the page will move. If I refresh page nothing happens. If I change search to trashed its not there.

It does not change anything by refreshing the browser page. Only by clearning the browser cache. I have tried both Edge and the Chrome, but same problem.

Please help on this issue

I confirm. A few weeks later, the same problem. Newest Joomla, newest SP Builder, PHP 8.2, WAF is OFF. Any one any idea?

I can also confirm this Strange and Development haulting behavior.

Pagebuilder 5.0.6 PHP 7.4.33 Joomla 4.3.3

We Duplicated Pages, Renamed pages and Edited the Duplicate pages (All from back end)

We rebooted server (As we Develop/Host websites) and MOST of our changes were lost!

We did the same as above, Cleared CACHE, Worked within PRIVATE window of Browser, Used Different browser, Disabled Versioning of Article within Joomla, Disabled LESS.

Its an ODD behavior but has stopped us from Developing until Figured out. We need to be able to reboot a server and NOT lose changes.

Joomla 4, PHP 7.4 and Pagebuilder 5 are all new to us, which is WHY we are testing on a DEVELOPMENT server..

What else could be the cause of this??

(We continue to test on this and have just Noticed...) CLEARING THE SORT order seems to reveal some of the PAGES that were not there/shown before... (Defaults to Asending , Click Clear Selection)

So, We have had to completely stop developing on this SP Pagebuilder version. There are some Serious issues here....

Login to Joomla 4 Go to the Pagebuilder Pro component, Pages Clear Selection of Sort order Click Preview of a Page we are wanting to work with... The Expected changes are there in the Tab it has opened Click to Edit the page AND THE ADDONs and EDITS DO NOT MATCH, THEY ARE NOT THERE

Is this Joomla 4 or PageBuilder?

This seems to be a pretty common issue. I am using Safari and things are often not saved.

For example, if I edit something in the "Code" under "Text Block," and just click save, it would not save. But if I edit something in "Code" then go back to "Editor" and type something in and backspace out, it would somehow trigger the content to be saved.

It's obviously a silly bug that makes the whole task inefficient. Would be nice to fix little things like these.

Also whatever I type in as the "Admin Title" in the front by changing the name of an add-on, 50% of the times it would save, and the other 50% of the times it would not.

For us, we seem stable after making change to the Joomla 4 configuration file

Our hypothosys is, there was some odd cahing happening even though Jooomla dashboard showed it disabled..

Once we made change :

public $cache_handler = '';

Things became more stable.... (remove any 'file' declaration )

Hi, Is there any solution for the discussed issue. I started this post 7 month ago and havent used SPB since, because it doesn't work. I still have bought a PRO license. I have now installed Joomla 5.03 and installed SP Pagebuilder 5.2.7. The same problem. Nothing will be saved in the backend, and I can only see the changes If I clear cache. I dont think its a solution to continue to clear all browser cache just to see if you save some changes in SPB.

And Mehtaz if you are the support, can I ask you directly whether you have solved this or found the bug. Your answers to the issue until now, has been:

I can not see how this can be the answer from support.

And also even when inserting license and clear cache, so I can see that the inserted info is there, I can not access the PRO section library for example to insert a slide show. I says I need PRO license.
