SP Builder Backend Does Not Save Changes

SP Page Builder 3 weeks ago

Hello,

I made some changes in my site's homepage with SP Builder backend editor and it displays alright on the frontend. However, when I close and reopen the item in the backend, it shows me the previous version.

As you can see, the addon shown with the arrow is hidden even though I have changed its name and published it previously, and it displays on the front end of the site.

Thanks

Thank you for your response. Please see the process. I am making changes in SP Page Builder, they show on the front end, but when I reload SP Page Builder after saving, the changes are gone.

I will try to ask my system administrator on Monday, but 8.1 will stop receiving active update at the end of the month, so I don't see how this could constitute a suitable fix.

I have the same issue. At least there is a problem with the backend Editor. The Frontend Editor loads all the data correctly but not in the backend. I did try PHP 8.1 and 8.2. I does not change the problem. Also the Browser seems to play a role. In Chrome the Backend Editor deliver a complete empty page! When i switch to Frontend Editor everything is fine In Edge the Backend shows previous version. The Contact form addon fields "Recipient Emails" are correct on frontend Edition but reseted on the Backend-Editor...??!!! What's going on? Builder pro 5.1.8 - Joomla 4.4.0

Hallo! I have the exact same problem! Pagebuilder 5.1.8 , Joomla 4.4.0 ...checked this issue with PHP 7.4 & PHP 8.1 and still remains....in both PHP versions. Please help to fix this ...or fix the bug and provide a new version....you can't ask everybody to give administrator credentials....this is not an individual site problem...it is Page builder version bug....so please give some attention and try to fix it!!!

I agree, recently, support has mostly boiled down to giving admin access for them to do quick fixes, and as result, systemic bugs seem to pile up. Page Builder now seems to be crumbling under its own weight.

My subscription is active and i am using the latest Page Builder version with the latest php/apache/mysql/mariadb versions... The same issues exists...

Are you planning to fix them ...soon enough ...? Page Builder is a great tool. But in order to remain great needs the bugs it has to be fixed otherwise is not great.... Even though when the users are developers where their job depends on it !!!!

Just for your information: The previous interface was better/cleaner/prettier and faster.... The new interface is worse in any aspect ....

Also now i see that when you use the frontend editor it delete all the data entered in the options of the page SEO/BASIC/CSS I hope you are working on this issue because it's more that annoying. It makes the whole PB almost unusable!

Any news on this? Toufiq!! what's going on??

[UPDATE] Issue still the same on 5.1.9 - The backend does not load all the data from the database and nothing in the page settings. The Frontend can handle the content but doesn't load the settings so when you save all the settings SEO BASIC and CSS are gone.
