this was reported by me and a other customer for version RC3.
This should have been fixed.

Temporary fix - Regular Labs ReReplacer. The free version works

search: //images/

replace: /images/

It's a workaround, not an accepted answer - the bug is still there (as far as I know). Still on 5.0.1 at this writing.
