*htaccess that is..!

Hi Ian,

this same RULE is for all components since Joomla 1.x:

1. First add as Menu item
2. .htaccess (rename from htaccess.txt)
3. Global Configuration > Basic (tab) > SEO and YES for first two options

I have DONE your suggestions 2 & 3 I don't understand what you mean by your item 1...?

If you mean I have to create Menu item, then obviously I do that anyway.

OK. The links that are not changing to user friendly are buttons at the bottom of the pages. Are you sayting that the User Friendly URLs atre not reated unless there is a MENU ITEM linking to the pages as well?

OK. So if I link to taht page from a Menu loink, the UF-URL works fine. But it still does not work via a text link on another page...

Correct (short) link must be used also in Buttons etc.
