Therefore, I am still having the problem of the Database Checkin. If I just close tha SP Builder page, I have to check in the database. The SP Builder database tables are not correctly updated.

This is the default system. Each time you open a page, you will see a lock icon in all pages view on admin. This is done to prevent multiple editing on one page. This cannot be changed.
