to be honest, I uses Helix Ultimate since 1.0.0 Alpha, and I never seen that error before. Even today I installed that template 2x without any surprises.

My suggestion is: reinstall template again, then check Template Options using two different browsers (for example Firefox, Opera, Safari, Edge, Chrome). Reload browser cache.

Of course IE9/IE10 we don't support anymore. As for other niche browsers.

As suggested by you, it was an issue with the browser chrome. Once it was cleared of with the catch, the problme was resolved
