Easy Store Language issue

hi team,
the country and state in the german language is not correct. where is it possible to edit the state and country ? I have now used a javascript to change but its not ideal.

i saw that and also went through all the ini files to find where that is loaded.
countries and states do not appear in any of the files. i don't see where the content comes from when a country is in the backend defined what states then are popping up.
