Hello,
I am sorry but I give up on easystore.
Each day I dig a little further, I have new unpleasant surprises.
Actually, the frontend product page are more or less ok if you don't need any dynamic customization. If you need more than decritpion to qualify your product, it won't work. Neither forms or modules work on the product page (fix soon apparently) and it's only a workaround to have something a bit more complex.
But than Once you get to the checkout, you quit the road to enter the wild. I didn't count but it's many clicks to validate a payment. If the customer goes till the end, I would offer him a reward. So if you pass by registration, you first arrive to the create account page - customer informations page - back to checkout page - payment choice - than payment page of your choice ourtside the website (no integrated solution) - enter you credit card infos and again your address details if asked by the payment gateway. Anf finally, you are done... well nearly because I forgot to say that if you have some kind of validation for activation, there is that part too.
If you checkout as guest it's a little bit less dodgy but there's no way to convert a guest into customer. If you want it; you have to do it manually....
That last payment part killed me. There a nice list of payment plugins but they consist only in a redirection to those payment sites... what is required for a professional website is a real integration. That means staying on the website and filling the credit cards info on the site page, not two clicks again and writing again your personal datas already filled on the website....
I don't speak about many other little things, like the countries that can not be translated in the language of the website; overrides work partially; probably som security issues as you can enter as many letters and numbers int the address fields,....
pagebuilder and helix are good experiences but easystore is clearly an unfinished product.
Sorry, I hve to stop with easystore and I ask for a refund please.
What is the procedure and how do I keep sp pagebuilder pro?
Sincerely,
Nicolas
