Hello,

I am sorry but I give up on easystore. Each day I dig a little further, I have new unpleasant surprises.

Actually, the frontend product page are more or less ok if you don't need any dynamic customization. If you need more than decritpion to qualify your product, it won't work. Neither forms or modules work on the product page (fix soon apparently) and it's only a workaround to have something a bit more complex.

But than Once you get to the checkout, you quit the road to enter the wild. I didn't count but it's many clicks to validate a payment. If the customer goes till the end, I would offer him a reward. So if you pass by registration, you first arrive to the create account page - customer informations page - back to checkout page - payment choice - than payment page of your choice ourtside the website (no integrated solution) - enter you credit card infos and again your address details if asked by the payment gateway. Anf finally, you are done... well nearly because I forgot to say that if you have some kind of validation for activation, there is that part too. If you checkout as guest it's a little bit less dodgy but there's no way to convert a guest into customer. If you want it; you have to do it manually....

That last payment part killed me. There a nice list of payment plugins but they consist only in a redirection to those payment sites... what is required for a professional website is a real integration. That means staying on the website and filling the credit cards info on the site page, not two clicks again and writing again your personal datas already filled on the website....

I don't speak about many other little things, like the countries that can not be translated in the language of the website; overrides work partially; probably som security issues as you can enter as many letters and numbers int the address fields,....

pagebuilder and helix are good experiences but easystore is clearly an unfinished product. Sorry, I hve to stop with easystore and I ask for a refund please. What is the procedure and how do I keep sp pagebuilder pro?

Sincerely,

Nicolas

Hello Rejouisens

Thanks for your feedback. I have already forwarded the issues to the developement team. It will be taken care of.

  1. Inserting modules or forms on the products page. The team will review the request for the future.
  2. The team will check if they can make the registration process smoother.
  3. If the guest customer wants to be a registered customer, then they have to register on the site. I hope that you know the process.
  4. You can not store user's payment information in EasyStore. If this is the payment issue, then there is no way so far. If I misunderstand the issue, then let me know.

It is too early to compare with Helix Ultimate and SP Page Builder. EasyStore has just begun its journey. It will be more furnished product in the future. We will overcome the recent flaws over the time.

If you would like a refund, then email us at [email protected].

Best regards

Hello Ofi Khan.

I reached [email protected].

For my surprise the answer I got was not a refund. Is it me or this matter didn't get to the people that answer to subscription extension requests?

I'm really confused and even more frustrated. I subscribed 1 year ago for EasyStore that is still unnusable. I urge you to reach out to support team about this.

Regards,

António Lima

Hello Holger

I understand your frustration. Please do not go by my words. Rejouisens was comapring EasyStore with second generation Helix Framework and fifth generation SP Page Builder. Obviously, the experience will not be the same. But we understand your emotion and urgency to get a solid product. The team is really working hard to revamp the current tax system to comply with EU Tax Policy. Afterwards, all other improvements will take place. We just hope for your continued support.

Best regards

Hello, Don't you even notice that you've been putting us off over and over again with the same words and promises and haven't kept them for months? Trusting your words has turned out to be a mistake every time! It is clear to everyone that developing a product takes time and that it only becomes truly powerful step by step through user experience. What you are selling is, first of all, a fragment of a shop system with many rough edges and completely useless, at least for all customers from the EU. You let us customers elegantly finance the development costs in advance and you also have beta testers in us. Sorry, but I now find your constant words a mockery. You should seriously think about how you can make up for all the time and costs we lost! You buy a shop system to generate sales and not to run a permanent construction site on the server. Sorry guys, but that's really dishonorable from Joomshaper

I'm really sorry @Ofi Khan, but EasyStore is over a year old now. It should work as advertised and not contain the number of bugs which are currently being reported.

A beta test period / product polishing period should be a couple of months at most. One year is plenty of time for a product to mature and be stable for use in customer production sites.

Unfortunately EasyStore is still not production ready.
