Feature Box - Possible To Make Image Clickable Link (not Just The Text)

I am using the "Feature Box" element within Page Builder. I am wondering if there is a way to make the image clickable (not just the text).

If not inherent in the program, are you able to give me a clue as to what type of CSS may achieve this?

Hi ROBINSON,

Yes, this is possible! You can add a URL to the image or icon in the Feature Box addon by enabling the option: URL will be used for icon/image. Here's an example: https://img001.prntscr.com/file/img001/Bcdw2LFwQvOTEaW5mNlVTA.png

please find the docs: Feature Box-Link Settings

Feel free to reach out if you have any further questions.

THank you for the reply. I have tried that, but it is still not working. It only created a link on the title of the text, not the image.

I have tired with a URL, and with a Menu Item selected. Same results either way.

Any suggestions?

Hi there,

Sorry for the inconvenience. I’m not sure where the issue lies, as everything is working perfectly fine on my end. Could you please check this file? Featur_box_page_layout.json.zip

If the issue persists, you may share Joomla admin access with me so I can investigate further.

Best regards

Thanks for the reply. I apologize. I have downloaded the file, but I am not finding where this is located within the website to check against?

Hi there,

Thank you for your question.

I created a new SP Page Builder page named test_0089, extracted the downloaded zip page layout to a JSON file, and imported it back into the test_0089 page. Everything is functioning correctly, with both the image and the title working as clickable links. Please see it in the hidden content.

Feel free to reach out if you have further questions.

Best regards

Thank you. I guess my only question is how do you import the json file back into the page? I do not seem to see any area where I can import it.

Thank you for your question.

To import a page layout (JSON):

  1. Create a new page in SP Page Builder. You will find the Import option in the page settings section. See screenshot https://prnt.sc/kSulSPctt2x7
  2. Select the JSON file I provided earlier.

For more details, please refer to the official documentation: SP Page Builder - Export, Import, and Save for Later Use

If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out.

Best regards
