Cannot Access Protected Property Joomla\CMS\Menu\MenuItem::$params

Hi there,

I try to migrate from joomla 3.10.12 to joomla 4.4.9 but after migrate, my web get error "Cannot access protected property Joomla\CMS\Menu\MenuItem::$params" . I used educon template. I had try to replace .../html/mod_menu/default.php file follow from some suggestion, but it not works for me. Can anyone help.

Hi,

I have different idea that helps in many cases:

On Joomla 3.10:

  1. Set Joomla template "protostar" as default template
  2. Disable all extra installed plugins (!) also helix3 plugin
  3. Make Joomla upgrade process to Joomla 4.4x
  4. Prey for luck.
  5. Then update template to current version of Educon.
  6. Start enabling extra plugins one by one.
