"Read more" can't never be inside the article. It is in the category blog. And it works as expected.If you want to display "BEFORE READ MORE" text inside SP PB articles, you need to duplicate it there.

In Joomla editor you should add the intro text + "Read more" Button.

In the SP BP editor you should add intro text + full article. In SP PB it is not possible. You should add intro text and read more in the standard editor. Then switch to the SP PB editor and save.

if i have correctly understand, i think it's exactly what i do. You can see all my "old" articles work like that, but just my last article (Petits chaussons naissance) don' t want to work. I really think i have do this one like the other...

Could you please verify directly in my admin if there's a problem ? have you see my video because i think i do like your explaination.

I intro text in joomla editor add the read more button i click on SPPB button, it say "Save the article first for getting the editor!" I click on save If you return to joomla editor, you can see Read more button is desappeared

1. Do you really use SPPB inside articles, or maybe you used SPPB mode only 2 or 3 articles in whole website. I am asking becuase maybe you don't need that integration. And your main Editor (Site Owner) is only confused becuase of that switcher. The main rule is: The fewer options, the fewer problems! Also in JCE toolbar you have too many unnecessary icons, keep only those which are used in 100%, not ones a year.
2. I added Read More "Lire la suite" for last 3 articles in content.
3. Editor (and you) should add intro image using "Blog Options" or "Images & Links" becuase adding in content doesn't look good in Articles view (Blog).

If you would save Article with SPPB mode enabled, then Joomla thinks that must use SPPB content as 1st one, not classic content. And SPPB content don't have "Read more". It's how integration works. It's extra, 2nd alternative view. That's why I don't always recommend it for all projects & users. In reference to the movie "John Wick", you have to think about the consequences of choices.
