Browser Cache Issue

Since updating to the latest version of SP Page Builder (version 5.5.4) every time I make a change using the back end editor I have to clear the browser's cache in order to see the change. This is the same whatever browser I use, on laptop, tablet and mobile. It's very frustrating to have to take this extra step every time I want to check how a change looks.

Hi Mike,

Install the plugin "Cache Cleaner" (from RegularLabs.com), set it and that's all you need.

Tried that but although it clears the Joomla cache, it doesn't clear the browser cache, which is the issue here.

But as you know we cannot clear browser cache from Joomla itself.

Maybe:

  • somebody had idea on forum.joomla.org
  • there is browser addon that can help
  • browser shortcut to hard-refresh

If you have Chrome - it loves to cache views no matter what site or CMS you use.


Browser cache is independed of used component, module or plugin. Different level.
