Hi Josef,

PHP 8.5 is very fresh PHP version, many hosting panels do not have it yet, for example mine. But yes, we will try to improve Helix Ultimate to work with it in upcoming weeks.

BTW

Do you feel any speed difference between PHP 8.4 and PHP 8.5 ?

Hi

Thanks for the information.

I can't say yet whether there is a speed difference between PHP 8.4 and PHP 8.5 because I switched back to 8.4 and am waiting until Helix Ultimate is adapted.

Probably by end of January or in next month a new version should be ready.

Please write here a note before end of month, so I will be able to share BETA sooner.

A new update (2.2.6) has been released, but it is still not compatible with PHP 8.5. Error message (example): Deprecated: The method SplObjectStorage::attach() has been deprecated since 8.5; use the method SplObjectStorage::offsetSet() instead in /usr/www/../../../plugins/system/helixultimate/vendor/scssphp/scssphp/src/Extend/ConcreteExtensiosphp/src/Extend/ObjectSet.php on line 44

I'm waiting - how much longer (but no empty promises)?

Sorry, but it does not depends on me, I wanted PHP 8.5 as much as you :/

In blog info there is/was info about PHP 8.4 only.

Really, I don't know today, but I will ask tomorrow.

We found source of PHP 8.5 "problems" it was SCSS compiler code (if you have enabled), we have to update with a new version, and all will be OK. I talked with a developer a moment ago.

With disabled in Template Options, you shouldn't see messages.

Please ping me on Friday, okay

Thank you very much for this helpful information. That was indeed the cause. I have now disabled the SCSS feature and am no longer receiving any error messages.
