Got 403 Error After Saving

Hi,

I want to develop a page with a lot of sections, rows, columns and elements. I develop mine page step by step, and save after every step of work to keep mine work. At a certain moment I cannot save the page anymore, the save action caused a 403 error. If I undo one or more development steps I can save mine work. It looks like a limit that caused the 403 error. It is annoying because I cannot finish mine work! I work for two days with the package and each time I got at a certain amount of work the 403 error.

In a previous answer, it can be resolved by disabling mod-security or whitelist the SP Page Buider save. But I does not understand this solution because I can save the page until a certain limit of sections, row, columns and elements is reached.

Please can you help me to fix this problem so I can finish my work.

Page in construction: https://dbesten.com/index.php/demo2 If add a textbox element to the page and save the page it caused the 403 error. If I remove the added textbox element I can save the page. For me it looks like a limitation bug?

Kind Regards, Gijs den Besten

Hi Gijs,

Apologies for the delayed response over the weekend, and thank you for the update — glad to hear the issue is resolved!

The 403 error was caused by mod_security blocking larger save requests, which is common with complex pages.

Feel free to reach out if you need anything else.

Kind regards
