Then it is really old one, based on Helix V2. And Helix V2 is not supported anymore.

This is an old thread, but for benefit of future lost & perplexed souls....this problem arises when the browser is set in its preferences to automatically unzip compressed downloads. Joomla expects to see a template upload in form of the orginal ".zip" file – which you can achieve either by recompressing the opened folder, or turning off the browser's automatic file opening and redownloading the template.
