I have checked column options of SP Page Builder and they are fine.

And I have checked the layout builder of the Helix Ultimate Template Options and found the issue you are talking about. I think there is a little missunderstanding though.

However, there was no cancel option there in previous versions of the helix ultimate also.

You can change your selection to anything else actually, but no option to remove it. You can select inherit option there either I think.

Yeah I tried inherit option but that is not acting like the empty option hence raised this query. I think we should have "Select an Option" also in the drop down so that if we dont want to set any value then we should be able to do this.
