Creating A New Module Position In Helix 2.0

Hi, is there any way to create a new module position in Helix 2.0 besides adding it manually to the templateDetails.xml file? I'm guessing that the file will be overwritten with the next update and the new module position will be lost.

Hi Alex,

There is easier way:

  1. Open any module in edit mode
  2. In position name put manually a new position name (!) + click Enter
  3. Save changes.
  4. Then choose that position in Template Options - Layout - Module position

I use this method quite often. And it works in all Helix Ultimate versions.
