Hi. Such things are not related to the functionality of any template. For this purpose, separate third-party extensions are commonly used, which you can install in your Joomla. The SP Page Builder has Modal Addon, JCE MediaBox Plugin from JCE EDITOR, ENGAGE BOX and many other others on the market.

And one more thing. Helix Ultimate template is built on bootstrap and has on board bootstrap js. This allows you to use all bootstrap interactive components. Including Modal. But this requires some HTML / CSS skills. Read bootstrap documentation about that

The tyoe of modal that I would like to use is to allow me to create a pop up window for the homepage. Will it be triggered by visiting the homepage? For example, when I am trying to visit the homepage, it will automatically shows without clicking any button. I am not sure if the modal from the link that you have provided could allow me to do that.

I do use sp page builder pro.
