Hello again,
I am testing my website for the "Dutch market" and i have some adjustments.
- In file "com_easystore" where tekst "belasting" must be "BTW"
- On the order details text "Order Created" -> "Order aangemaakt"
- No VAT is stated on the invoice. (Is mandatory in the Netherlands)
Calculate VAT:
Calculation: (totalprice / (100 + percentage VAT) * 100) = amount excluding VAT
Totalprice - amount excluding VAT = VAT
One idea is to include it in the "Totalprice" line For example englisch: Totalprice (include: "Amout tax" BTW of "totalprice" = VAT) For example dutch: Totaalprijs (inclusief: "Amout tax" BTW van "totalprice" = VAT)
- Order summart On the order summary is in the column Shipping costs in the column total "(VAT €0.00)"! This can better be removed. There is no need for VAT on this form. VAT should only be on the invoice.

Back to the invoice. It is mandatory in the Netherlands to have VAT on the invoice. My proposal is to do it in the "Total price" line.
VAT calculation as follows: Percentage VAT = 21%
If the total price of the order is 200.00 euros, then as an example, state the following for the Total price:
Total price (Including 21% VAT of 200.00 = 24.20) VAT amount = (amount including VAT / 121) x 21
In Dutch on the Invoice: Totaalprijs (Inclusief 21% BTW van 200,00 = 24,20)
On the order overview, the text (BTW €0.00) may be removed when Tax included the price and is also in a strange place.

I have adjusted the invoice if the price of a product is including VAT. After the word "Total" on the invoice it should say: Total (including VAT% of €228.00 = €39.57) In dutch : Totaal (inclusief VAT% of €228,00 = €39.57)
Calculation: VAT amount = (amount including VAT / (100 + VAT%) x VAT%

Accepted AnswerThe product on my website is indicated that these are including VAT. So the Sub Total is also including VAT, so no further calculation of the VAT needs to be made, other than just a mention of how much VAT is on the order in total.
Your example is of a product that is stated to be without VAT!

The Order Summary is not in Dutch! The Shipping label is not in Dutch The Packing slip is not in Dutch The Invoice is not in Dutch
