Hello, I'm receiving the following error message while trying to install automatically the sp Page Builder 5.5.3 update on my Joomla site. 'Package download failed. Please download and install manually from https://www.joomshaper.com/index.php?option=com_product&task=download.download&package=release&id=10289'

So I was wondering if the manual install is mandatory.

Hi Alejandro.

In most cases no, but sometimes Joomla has moods.

Then you have to download and install manually. It will take you only 60sec more.

  1. Update to SPPB 5.5.4
  2. If you have Akeeba Tools Pro - some extra settings may be needed.

OK SPPB upgraded to 5.5.4. This time the upgrade worked from Joomla itself :) however the problem reported here: https://www.joomshaper.com/forum/question/38645 still remains
