SPPB Dynamic Content Guidance

I am learning to use the dynamic content, but I have to say the help available is not great, ChatGPT has been more helpful if I am honest.

I have created a dynamic Content collection called "Network Switches" and it has multiple fields, image, short description, long description etc etc. I created a few products for this. I then created a new page, dynamic details, laying it out the way I want it to be, adding in the dynamic fields, Title, Image and description I go to the link and I get the title, image but no description text, however what I want to understand is the dynamic link option, which I presume will display the actual dynamic created product page. When I select the dynamic title field to edit, and scroll down and select enable Dynamic link, I can slick select a field source, and I am hown the collection "Network Switches" but thats all, nothing else under it, and it is not selectable in itself?

I think your guidance should be a step by step, which you did in part do, but you neglected to include enough details on the creation of the pages, dynamic linking and more.

Right, I did that, I created a new collection, added in multiple cusom fields to it, and put content into each field. I created the index page, and made sure everything points to the correct ynamic field.

When I view the page, first it only works if I view the non SEF page, the SEF one fails. second, when I view it, I only ever see the image, none of the other fields display at all.

Your help does not explain this
