Menus

Menus allow a user to navigate through the site. Each menu item points to a logical page on the site. A menu module is required to place the menu on the page. One menu can have more than one module.

When you expand the Menu section, you will find the following options:

  • Manage
  • All Menu Items
  • Blog
  • Quick Links
  • Company
  • Main Menu

Manage

The Manage Section provides an overview of the menus available on a Joomla site. This includes the details of each individual menu's number of items published, unpublished and trashed, and the names of linked modules.

Rebuild: Use this setting to rebuild all the menus.

New: Create a new menu item.

Sort By: The Sort By option allows you to organize the menus in ascending or descending order based on different criteria, such as IDs and titles.

All Menu Items

The All Menu Items page lists the menu items contained in a menu created in the Manage section.

Rebuild: Use this setting to rebuild all the menus.

Sort By: The Sort By option allows you to organize the article list in ascending or descending order based on different criteria, such as order, status, title, menu, home, access, and ID.

Show Filter: The Show Filter option lets you filter menu items by criteria such as status, access level, max levels, parent menu item, and component.

Select Menu: Using this dropdown menu, you can select the menu types you have created and be redirected to their sections.

The default menu types are specified below. They can also be accessed directly by expanding the Menus section (along with custom menu items that you have created in the Manage section).
