Colissimo

EasyStore integrates with Colissimo, a popular shipping carrier in France, enabling merchants to offer it as a reliable shipping option at checkout. After setup, they can manage shipping rates and generate shipping labels directly from EasyStore.

Before You Begin

To integrate Colissimo, ensure you have the following:

  • An active Colissimo merchant account
  • API credentials (Account Number and Password for both Live and Test modes)
  • Shipping regions configured in EasyStore

Adding Colissimo As Your Shipping Carrier

  1. Log in to your Joomla Dashboard and navigate to Components > EasyStore > Settings > Shipping.

    Colissimo Shipping Carrier Integration
  2. If your region is already set up, click the three-dot icon next to it and select Edit. If you haven't set up your regions yet, you'll need to configure them first before you can add any shipping carriers.

    Choose Your Shipping Country
  3. Scroll down to the Add Shipping Carrier section and click on the Add Carrier button to open the list of available shipping providers.

    Choose Shipping Carrier
  4. Locate Colissimo in the list and click the Add button.

Add Colissimo in the Shipping Carrier List
  1. After completing the setup, click the "Back to the list" button. Colissimo will now be added to your store’s available shipping options.

    Enable Colissimo Toggle Button

Enable the toggle switch to make Colissimo visible as a shipping option on the checkout page.

Configuring Colissimo Shipping Carrier

After adding Colissimo as your preferred shipping carrier, locate it in the list and click the "Setup" button next to it.

This will open a pop-up screen where you can configure the Colissimo settings for smooth integration with your store’s shipping process.

Title

Give your integration a title (e.g., "Colissimo"). This is a user-defined title that helps you identify this integration within your Joomla Dashboard.

Environment

Choose either "Live" or "Test" mode based on your needs. Select "Live" to process actual shipments in a production environment, or "Test" to simulate shipping for setup and testing purposes.

Test/Live Account Number

Insert your Live or Test account Number you received while creating your Colissimo account.

Weight-based Pricing

Colissimo Weight Based Pricing

Pricing based on package weight is pre-configured to match Colissimo’s standard rates. For the most up-to-date rates from mainland France, refer to the official Colissimo website. Please note that Colissimo's listed prices do not include taxes.

You must assign a weight to each product individually for Colissimo to calculate shipping charges accurately. Any product weight that exceeds the defined chart limits will not be included in the shipping cost calculation.

After configuring the Colissimo shipping carrier, click "Save and Close" to apply and save your changes.

Ensure that the plugin status is set to Enabled, as it is disabled by default.

Displaying Colissimo as the Shipping Method on the Checkout

For the Colissimo shipping option to appear on the checkout page, customers must select a destination country that is within Colissimo's service area. If a country not supported by Colissimo is chosen, the shipping method will not be displayed. This ensures that only valid and applicable shipping options are shown based on the customer's selected location.

Pickup Point Selection (France Only)

Colissimo supports pickup point delivery for domestic (France) addresses.

During checkout, when a customer selects France as the shipping country and enters a valid ZIP code, a list of nearby pickup points will be displayed.

Example: If a customer selects Paris and enters ZIP code 71418, relevant pickup locations will be shown for selection.
