EasyStore supports Mondial Relay as a shipping carrier, providing you with more flexibility in delivering orders across Europe. With this integration, customers can select Mondial Relay as their preferred shipping method during the checkout process.

Before You Begin

To integrate Mondial Relay, ensure you have the following:

• An active Mondial Relay merchant account
• API credentials (Account Number and Password for both Live and Test modes)
• Shipping regions configured in EasyStore

Adding Mondial Relay As Your Shipping Carrier

• Log in to your Joomla Dashboard and navigate to Components > EasyStore > Settings > Shipping.
  
  
• If your region is already set up, click the three-dot icon next to it and select Edit. If you haven't set up your regions yet, you'll need to configure them first before you can add any shipping carriers.
  
  
• Scroll down to the Add Shipping Carrier section and click on the Add Carrier button to open the list of available shipping providers.
  
  
  
  
• Locate Mondial Relay in the list and click the Add button.
  
  

  

• Click the "Back to the list" button once you are done. Mondial Relay will now be added to your store’s available shipping options.
  
  

  

• Enable the toggle switch to make Mondial Relay visible as a shipping option on the checkout page. 

Configuring Mondial Relay Shipping Carrier

After adding Mondial Relay as your preferred shipping carrier, locate it in the list and click the "Setup" button next to it.

This will open a pop-up screen where you can configure the Mondial Relay settings for smooth integration with your store’s shipping process.

Title

Give your integration a title (e.g., "Mondial Relay"). This is a user-defined title that helps you identify this integration within your Joomla Dashboard.

Environment

Choose either "Live" or "Test" mode based on your needs. Select "Live" to process actual shipments in a production environment, or "Test" to simulate shipping for setup and testing purposes.

Test/Live Brand Number

Insert your Live or Test account Number you received while creating your Mondial Relay account.

Test/Live Private Key

Enter the Live or Test account password that you set when creating your Mondial Relay account.

Max Results

Define how many pickup points (relay points) will be shown to the customer during checkout. For example, if set to 5, only the 5 nearest Mondial Relay points will be displayed.

Search Radius

Define the maximum distance around the customer’s address within which Mondial Relay pickup points will be searched. A larger radius increases the area covered, which may show more options if nearby points are limited.

Weight-based Pricing

Pricing based on package weight is pre-configured to match Mondial Relay’s standard rates. For the most up-to-date rates from mainland France, refer to the official Mondial Relay’s website. 

Please note that Mondial Relay listed prices do not include taxes.

You must assign a weight to each product individually for Mondial Relay to calculate shipping charges accurately. Any product weight that exceeds the defined chart limits will not be included in the shipping cost calculation.

After configuring the Mondial Relay shipping carrier, click "Save and Close" to apply and save your changes.

Ensure that the plugin status is set to Enabled, as it is disabled by default.

Displaying Mondial Relay as the Shipping Method on the Checkout

For the Mondial Relay shipping option to appear on the checkout page, customers must select a destination country that is within Mondial Relay's service area. If a country not supported by Mondial Relay is chosen, the shipping method will not be displayed. This ensures that only valid and applicable shipping options are shown based on the customer's selected location.

Pickup Point Selection (France Only)

Mondial Relay supports pickup point delivery for domestic (France) addresses.

During checkout, when a customer selects France as the shipping country and enters a valid ZIP code, a list of nearby pickup points will be displayed.

Example: If a customer selects Paris and enters ZIP code 71418, relevant pickup locations will be shown for selection.
