Assigning SP LMS Items as Menu Items
Using Joomla's native menu manager, you can assign various SP LMS components, such as courses, lessons, teachers, events, and more, as menu items. This allows you to easily organize and display content like course categories, quizzes, and certificates on your educational site. With this flexibility, you have complete control over how key items like quiz results, lesson topics, and events are presented, improving user navigation and enhancing the learning experience on your platform.
How to Create a Menu Item to Display SP LMS’s Listings
Access the Menu Manager
In your Joomla Admin Dashboard, navigate to Menus > Main Menu > +New. This will take you to the form for creating a new menu item.
Add a Title and Select a Menu
Enter a title for your new menu item (e.g., "Courses," "Questions," etc.). Then, choose the appropriate menu where you want this item to appear, such as the Main Menu.
Select the Menu Item Type
To choose an SP LMS item as your "Menu Item Type", click Select. A list of available item types will appear. Scroll down and find SP LMS in the list.
Choose the Specific Content to Display
After selecting SP LMS, you’ll see a list of options such as 'Cart,' 'Categories,' 'Courses,' 'Questions,' 'Certificate,' and more. Choose the option that corresponds to the content you want to display. For example, if you want to showcase all available courses, select 'Courses.' This helps you easily manage the display of specific educational items on your site, ensuring that students can navigate through your offerings in an organized and user-friendly manner.
Save Your Menu Item
Once you've selected the content type, click Save & Close. Your new menu item will now display the selected SP LMS content (e.g., courses, cart, questions).
